Best Career For An Extrovert in 2021

So you are an extrovert. This means you are very outgoing and a pleasure to be around.

So what is the best career for you? 2020 might not have been a banner year for you financially and perhaps you are looking to turn things around in 2021.

Extrovert

Now is a great time to start. The job market is starting to turn around so you have more opportunities than you did in 2020. The recent pandemic took a great toll on just about everything.

Some small businesses closed and many were laid off. However, it wasn’t all gloom and doom in 2020. A lot of new businesses were started.

And, because most people are resilient and resourceful we figured out a way to work from home in a way that benefited everyone.

So put on your thinking cap and let’s explore some ways for you as an extrovert to find the best career for you.

Event Planner

Event Planner

An event planner is known for planning weddings. However, there is much more to this position than planning weddings.

Business meetings, conventions, trade shows, and private parties are among the list of events that an event planner can perform.

Your outgoing personality will allow you to excel in this career field as you will be constantly talking with clients about their vision as well as sharing your vision for each event.

Negotiating will be a key trait while you are negotiating venues and contracts.

Even though this career path may require a Bachelor’s Degree to get hired at some of the high-end hotels and restaurants.

You can easily start your event planning career by becoming your own boss and starting your company.

Public Relations Specialist

In today’s society, the public image of a company is very important. So, therefore, if you enjoy speaking or working with the public this could be a perfect fit for you.

Some of the duties of a public relations specialist include brand identity and reaching out to the different media outlets.

You are the spokesperson of the company. This career may require a bachelor’s degree.

However, excellent people skills is one the biggest traits needed for this career for extroverts.

Sales Representative

A sales representative is a broad term when it comes to careers. you can work inside or outside depending on what you like to do.

The outside salesmen usually require travel due to the fact you are in the field every day talking with potential clients.

As a top-notch salesperson, you can move into a managerial position quickly which will bring a higher salary. Most sales jobs usually pay commission and or bonuses.

Therefore, as a sales representative you might start out on a low pay scale but you can quickly increase your pay as you gain experience.

Flight Attendant

Flight Attendant

If you enjoy traveling and love talking and helping people. Relax you have found the best career for you.

Flight attendants are generally trained by each airline so there is no need to require a degree. This career is not only an important part of airline safety it can be a very rewarding career.

All airlines have flight attendants and they generally require candidates who are easily approachable, attentive, and energetic.

You must be at least 18 years old. This would also be a good career choice for a second career later in life.

Fitness Trainer

Fitness Trainer

Today it seems everyone has become self-conscience of the extra weight or the shape of their body.

With that said, fitness trainers are becoming very popular.

If you like teaching and helping others this is on the top of the list for the best career for extroverts.

Fitness trainers teach individuals and or groups a healthy lifestyle and exercise routines that can benefit their health and body. There is no degree requirement for this career field.

However, a good understanding of the human body and how exercise affects the muscles will benefit you as a trainer.

Travel Guide

Becoming a travel guide is a great career to consider if you live in an area that has popular attractions for tourists to visit.

A museum, a historic train, an amusement park, or even a brewery or distillery are among the places that utilize travel guides.

Caution this career most likely will require you to weekends and holidays. No degree is required for this career. Just make sure you bring your smile and bubbly personality with you to work every day.

Real Estate Agent

Real estate agents help people buy and sell real estate. A real estate career can be lucrative depending on where you live in the country.

Don’t get me wrong, a real estate agent can make great money no matter where you live. Therefore, making it a great career for an extrovert such as yourself.

However, there are some parts of the country where the current housing market is on fire with no end in sight. Not to mention the price of houses is crazy high right now. I don’t recommend packing up and moving to these areas just to start your real estate career.

Where you live is a great place to start. There are some cons that most agents will not openly share with you. To start with the start-up costs will put a hit on your pocketbook.

With that in mind, you will need marketing materials. For example, business cards, and Marketing Flyers just to start. After all, no one knows who you are.

Because no one really knows you and what you do you could easily spend thousands of dollars getting set up as a Realtor.

Personal Financial Advisor

While a personal financial advisor normally has an education in finances, it is possible to learn how to jump into the world of finances without a degree.

Personal financial advisors give advice and manage the finances of clients. It is possible to have portfolios of millions of dollars.

This can be a highly stressful job depending on your clients and the stock market.

Child Care Worker

Child Care Worker

Even though a child care worker may not have the glamorous attraction as some other careers, it is becoming a career that is needed more and more every day.

The key to working as a child care worker is not only being able to work and help the kiddos all day but you must also be willing to talk to the parents as well.

In this career, you are the teacher that will be helping to start a kid’s future. You do not require a degree in this field however, a degree in child development is extremely helpful.

Concierges

Hotels, resorts, and apartment complexes have concierge services to assist guests with various tasks. spa services, arranging transportation, and making reservations in restaurants are just a few of the popular services you would be performing as a concierge.

Pay for this type of career can vary depending on the tips you receive. As an extrovert, you can really be that guy that everyone knows.

  1. This is a great article. As I kept reading, made me thinking of my own career that got washed out by this pandemic. I was and still, a travel owner-operator specialized in customized trips for folks who like to travel to Morocco on a private tour. I’m also an event planner for anything needed concerning having a great time in Morocco, whether for individuals or companies. The bad news is that I have not made a $1 yet since March 2020. My business is still closed. Made me think of something else to do as I see what would be the way to survive in any pandemic, and that is affiliate marketing. In my 3rd month now with Wealthy Affiliate (WA) and I can not thank them enough for all the coaching, guidance, support, the wonderful community and you name it. Thank You for sharing.

    • Thank you for your input. I’m sorry about your business. I hope that WA can make up for what you have lost. Good luck
